Globe Dye Works Wedding - Allie & Graham

I felt a deep connection to the happy couple as the photographer during Allie and Graham's wedding. Their story and the way they fell in love struck a chord with me. It was during their time as Entertainment and Arts Management students at Drexel University that they first crossed paths. Even though they had nearly every class together, Allie and Graham didn't become close until their junior year. Once Graham worked up the nerve to ask Allie out, the rest is history.

Eight years later, on a chilly Valentine's Day evening, I was there to film the moment when Graham asked Allie to be his wife. The couple skipped the typical Valentine's Day festivities in favor of a night out at the theater and vegan falafel at Goldie. Allie wanted to stay at the after-show party to participate in the raffle, but Graham had other intentions. After suggesting that you take the "long way" home through the park, he went down on one knee and popped the question. It was a privilege to be a part of such a meaningful event.

Allie and Graham wanted a wedding setting that reflected their artistic sensibilities, so they chose a gallery. Ultimately, they decided that Globe Dye Works was the best option. The couple felt right at home in this warehouse, with its neon signs and cool vibe. It also had a rich and artistic background as a former dye mill. The fact that it also had a sizable dance floor was icing on the cake for the happy couple.

Because of this, I felt so honored to be a part of Allie and Graham's wedding day and to record the depth of their feelings for one another. It was a privilege to play a small role in their lives.
