Bartram's Garden Wedding - Katherine & Stephen

I had the honor of being the wedding photographer for Katherine and Stephen and getting to see firsthand the love and happiness shared by these two wonderful people. The two met on the popular dating platform Hinge, and their chemistry was undeniable from the start. The two went on their first date to the Philadelphia Flower Show because they had a passion for flowers and the outdoors.

It was a lovely day in Philadelphia when the surprise proposal happened. Friends had planned a trip to the beach for them, but plans were scrapped at the last minute. Steve had the bright idea of doing something exciting in the city, so he and his wife walked their dog, Stella, past the art museum. Steve proposed at the gazebo, and then the couple strolled back to their apartment, where their respective families and friends were waiting to celebrate the happy couple.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Katherine and Stephen knew they wanted an outdoor, Philadelphia-area site. They belonged in the tranquil setting of Bartram's Gardens. They found that the natural surroundings and the gorgeous flowers were a great expression of who they were as people and what they valued in life.

I count it as a great fortune that I got to capture their wedding. Taking pictures of the outdoor ceremony, the photos, and everything in between was a fun because it was all part of a beautiful love story. As they begin their lives together as husband and wife, I hope they are filled with joy and love.
