Curtis Arboretum Wedding | Chelsea & Michael’s Elegant Spring Celebration on Film

Chelsea & Michael’s wedding at Curtis Arboretum was the perfect blend of romance, timeless elegance, and meaningful connection — all wrapped in the soft glow of a spring afternoon and captured entirely on film.

From the moment we arrived at the stately Curtis Hall, we knew the day would be something special. Chelsea got ready inside the venue with heirloom details and a custom-engraved tray for her flat lay, while Michael prepared just a few rooms away. Their first look, tucked beneath the trees, was filled with emotion and quiet joy.

The entire day was photographed on 35mm and medium format film using the Contax G2 and Hasselblad 503W — a conscious choice to slow down, shoot intentionally, and tell their story with softness, texture, and the nostalgic quality only film can deliver.

The ceremony took place under the wisteria-covered pergola — a dreamy setting where light filtered through the vines as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows. Guests gathered in the gardens for cocktail hour, surrounded by the sounds of a live band and the scent of spring florals.

From veil-dancing portraits to candlelit dinner moments and one final photo under a tree wrapped in string lights, Chelsea & Michael’s day was a true reflection of their grace, joy, and style. It was timeless. And thanks to film, it feels like it could have happened yesterday — or fifty years ago.

We’re honored to have documented this Curtis Arboretum wedding on film and even more honored to have witnessed a love this genuine.
