Mia and Matthew's love story began when they were introduced by one of Mia's cousins. Despite knowing each other for 15 years, it wasn't until they reconnected as adults that they realized they were meant to be together.

Matt knew Mia was the one for him, and he planned a romantic and surprise proposal that took her completely off guard. He invited Mia's family up from North Carolina to "visit," When they were on their way to Brigantine, NJ, he drove them out to the jetty and pulled out a ring from a tackle box. Mia was shocked but overjoyed, and of course, she said yes.

For their wedding, Mia and Matthew wanted a beach venue with a hotel attached so that all of their family and friends could be in one place. They found the perfect location at the Windrift Hotel Resort, which was beautiful and conveniently located.

In honor of the Philadelphia Flyers, their wedding colors were black and orange, and the florist was A Creative Touch. The bakery was Chocolate Face, and the DJ was Goody Blue Shoes. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories as Mia and Matthew celebrated their commitment to each other, surrounded by friends and family at the Windrift Hotel Resort. They couldn't wait to see what the future held for them as husband and wife.
