The Lucy Wedding - Jackie & Austin
As the photographer, I was lucky enough to witness the love and joy that radiated from Jackie and Austin on their wedding day. While the weather may have been cold and snowy outside, the warmth and love inside The Lucy venue were enough to melt anyone's heart.
I still remember when I first met the couple on the bus with the bride on the way to the church. The song "Soul" by Lee Brice was playing, and I couldn't help but start dancing, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
Jackie and Austin's love story began on a beach in Avalon, NJ, where mutual friends introduced them. After a dinner date in Wayne, PA, their love grew. Austin proposed on December 18th, 2020, sweetly and thoughtfully, which involved several boxes leading up to the final ring box.
The wedding venue, The Lucy in Philadelphia, was the perfect choice for the couple, as it embodied the intimate and romantic ambiance they were looking for in the city with a special place in their hearts.
As for their favorite TV shows, Austin is a fan of Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Jackie loves Friends. While they don't frequently post on social media, they both have Instagram and Facebook accounts.
When asked about their partner, Jackie highlighted Austin's sense of humor and his ability to make her laugh. At the same time, Austin mentioned Jackie's love for quality time and how much he enjoys planning date nights and special experiences for her.
Looking towards the future, Jackie and Austin see themselves living in their new home together, possibly with children and their dog, traveling and making time for each other.
Jackie envisioned the happiest day on their wedding day, filled with close friends, family, and loved ones celebrating their love. And when looking back at their wedding album in the future, Jackie sees memories of getting ready with her bridesmaids, walking down the aisle with her dad, and dancing the night away with Austin and their guests.
I am so grateful to have been a part of Jackie and Austin's special day and to have captured the love and joy that radiated from them. Congratulations to the happy couple!
